Glycerin oil, more commonly known as vegetable glycerin, is a natural humectant derived from vegetable oils such as coconut oil or palm oil.

How to use glycerine oil:

For the skin:

  1. Daily Moisturizer: Mix a few drops of glycerin with your usual moisturizer and apply to clean, slightly damp skin.
  2. Hydrating Spray: Mix rose water and a few drops of glycerin in a spray bottle to create a hydrating spray. Spray on face and body as needed.
  3. Hydrating Mask: Mix glycerin with honey and mashed avocado for an intensive hydrating mask. Apply to face, leave on for 15-20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water.

For hair:

  1. Conditioner: Add a few drops of glycerin to your usual conditioner for a moisturizing boost.
  2. Hair Mask: Mix glycerin with olive oil or coconut oil and apply to hair. Leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour before rinsing and washing as usual.
  3. Hair Moisturizing Spray: Mix distilled water, a few drops of glycerin, and an essential oil of your choice in a spray bottle. Spray on damp or dry hair to maintain hydration and reduce frizz.
